The BoatSafe® marine engine compartment heater is the most extensively tested product of its kind. We have a history dating back to 1990 and numerous certifications for safety.
Description

This product provides forced-air heat through a patented case design to keep your engine compartment safely above freezing while maintaining ignition protection. When the heater’s sensor detects an ambient temperature of approximately 45º Fahrenheit (7.2ºC), it turns on and remains on until the engine compartment reaches approximately 55º Fahrenheit (12.7ºC). Cabin Heaters Features:

• Quickly and safely heats a cold cabin or maintains a comfortable and constant ambient temperature.
• High efficiency fan blower for maximum heat distribution.
• Built-in automatic thermostat that ranges from 40ºF to 90ºF.
• Automatic overheat safety circuit that continuously monitors the internal temperature of the heater. Turns element “off” when temperature reaches >200ºF and turns on hazard warning light. Turns element “on” when temperature falls below 200º F.
• Uses 3 commercial quality metal sheath heating elements.
• May be plugged into an outlet or hardwired to a separate breaker.
• Includes a flanged galvanized metal "boat box" to hold heater securely in a 12" x 6" x 4" wall cutout.
• Extensively and independently tested for your safety and benefit
• Also includes a 6" heavy duty 16/3 power cord with molded 3 prong grounded plug.
